L. Tramier & Fils
A history of family and succession
Founded in 1842 in Mercurey, in the heart of Burgundy, L. Tramier & Fils is a family wine house built on more than 175 years of winemaking expertise passed down through generations.
At the heart of L. Tramier & Fils is a commitment to wines with a distinctive identity, allowing the character of each terroir and grape variety to express itself at its best. Its portfolio reflects the remarkable diversity of Burgundy while also extending into Beaujolais and the Côtes-du-Rhône, a connection to the Rhône origins of the house’s founder.
Each wine is carefully selected through extensive tastings, with a focus on quality, character and the experience it offers. The aim is simple: to create wines that are a genuine pleasure to discover and share.
Tradition is complemented by modern winemaking and bottling technology. The historic vaulted cellars, carved into the rock of Mercurey in 1830, provide ideal conditions for ageing, while modern equipment ensures that the quality and character of each wine are carefully preserved.
