Global Drinks Finland Oy (GDF) is a Finnish family-owned beverage company founded in 2007. We produce alcoholic beverages under our own brands and import internationally recognized brands to the Finnish market.
The Finnish alcohol market is essentially divided into five key sales channels: Alko (monopoly), wholesalers, restaurants, retail, and Travel Retail. Our operations and sales network cover all five channels.
One of the cornerstones of our strategy is understanding the changing drinking habits of future generations of consumers. Our goal is to build and develop a portfolio that remains relevant, youthful and as diverse as possible.
Compared with larger operators, our strength lies in our personal and flexible way of working. We are able to offer our brand partners close collaboration and genuinely focused attention – without the layers of a large organization.
Our extensive experience of the Finnish alcohol market and its different sales channels helps us build the right route to market for each brand. We work closely with our partners across sales, marketing and the long-term development of their brands.
GDF's flagship brand is the internationally multi-award-winning Laplandia Vodka, which is already sold in more than 30 countries worldwide.
